Can a woman's heart (legally donated at the time of death) be successfully transplanted to a man with a failing heart, other medical parameters (such as blood group, etc.) matching? AND VICE VERSA?

Is gender-specific consideration relevant in any way for heart transplants? Other parameters matching, is preference given to a transplant from the same gender - assuming, BOTH gender hearts are available? Will someone kindly educate, for information of ordinary folks?
