Blame this on parents not doing their jobs and idiots who preach "abstinence only" education in schools. It's like the early AIDS activists in ACT UP always said:
IGNORANCE = DEATH

And, sadly, even when there is education there are always fools who don't believe it can happen to them. I can't even count the number of people I worked with who have AIDS or another STD who say "But I only had sex with nice people!" Bacteria and viruses don't give a hoot about how nice you are.

Nope. Kids are taught to live for the moment, and they don't know a thing about repercussions. In most cases, their parents never taught them anything. They just set the kids down with the Xbox, and it plays babysitter, while Mom (usully they have no Dad) goes on with her own life because she had the kid(s) too early in life, and didn't get finished "playing". So the parent teaches the kid nothing, the kid knows nothing, and winds up with either his pecker falling off from a disease, her womb getting infested with a disease, or having a kid of his/her own too early, so the cycle starts over anew. I enjoy Yahoo Answers, but seriously, it can get depressing.

Must be the kids whose parents opted them out of the sex education program in school.

Nope, you're not wrong. I honestly believe the average IQ of the general population is significantly decreasing (as are the moral values). Sad, isn't it?

Yes.. I am surprised at the number of questions about that . I thought that most teens and others know about protection these days (?) Good Luck! :)
