STD is? Like i know its a disease you can get it. And its bad if you have it, during sex. But what IS it, and like how do you get it?

There are several STDs. All of them have different signs and symptoms and cause different health problems for people. They are also treated very differently. Bacterial STDs such as syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia can be cured with antibiotics. Viral STDs, like herpes, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, and HPV can NOT be cured. Viruses have no cures.
For example, HPV (human papillomavirus) can cause cancer for some people and also genital warts.
Other STDs like herpes, can cause large blister like sores that can puss.

If you don't know about STDs then you shouldnt be having sex. It’s a disease you can get from the person you have sex with.
STD stands for Sexually "Transmitted" Disease. If you have sex with someone who has a sexual disease, you can get an STD. You can basically get an STD by passing any bodily fluids that your partner passes to you or vice versa during sex. Always have protected sex & if you ever do you should know your partner's sexual history.

You are missing the point I think. You don't have a problem with the disease during sex, the diseases lots of problems that have nothing to do with sex. Some cause terrible itching, burning, others cause nasty warts and boils. Others make it difficult to urinate, and cause internal pain. STDs like syphillis can even lead to death, after a long painful and slow time of suffering as it eats your brain tissue. So the issue is not so much that you can catch a disease during sex or that it will cause problems during sex, it causes continual problems afterwards that are awful.

HEY WELL AN STD IS A SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE THAT CAN BE CAUGHT DURING ORAL SEX, SEX, THE SHARING OF BODY FLUIDS, AND BLOOD. OF COURSE THE MOST COME TYPE OF STD IS AIDS HIV, BUT THERE'S LOT MORE THAT ARE ALSO DANGEROUS. NO WHEN IT COMES TO UNDERSTAND STD. YOU WOULD NEED TO READ ON IT. THEN CONSULT YOUR SCHOOL NURSE OR EVEN A PHYSICIAN. I WOULD RECOMMEND A GYNECOLOGIST DUE TO MOST STD ARE PASS FROM PARTNER TO PARTNER DURING SEX..

STDs is an abreveated word for sexually transmitted disease, meaning u can get these diff kinds of diseases (more then one) by sexual activity (intercourse, oral, and anal) some sexually transmited disease are HIV, genetal warts, gonaria, clamidia ect.

You get it through unprotected sex. They vary in severity from things you can cure with penicillin to things you can never get rid of like Herpes, AIDS and HPV. Don't know how old you are, but always, ALWAYS practice safe sex!
