Ingredients:-

-1 1/2 lb. ground beef
-1 tsp. mustard
-Salt and pepper to taste
-4-5 tbsp. ketchup
-1 can alphabet soup, Campbell's (can add 1/3 can water)
-1 sm. onions

Method:-

1) Put ground beef and onion (if desired) in skillet. Cook until done.
2) Pour grease off, then add rest of ingredients.
3) Simmer 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Suggestions to serve: Serve on biscuits, toasted bread, plain bread or just put on plate. Serve with mashed potatoes and applesauce if desired or alone. Makes a very nutritious meal. Serves 4-6.

VEG BURGER

4 small sized Burger Rolls.
1 medium sized Cucumber, sliced
4 Salad Tomato, sliced
1 tbsp of Jalapeno Pepper, chopped finely
Cheese Spread
8 leaves of Lettuce
100 gm Butter
100 gm Cheese Spread

For The Cutlet

100 gm Carrots, chopped, boiled
100 gm Beans chopped, boiled
100 gm Peas, boiled
150 gm Potatoes, boiled, peeled, mashed
1 Lemon
4 Green Chilli, finely chopped
1/2 tsp Pepper powder
2 tbsp All Purpose Flour
4 tbsp Bread Crumbs
Oil
Salt

Method

For the veg cutlet:


Mix carrots, beans, peas, green chilli, potatoes with salt, pepper powder, lemon juice. Mix well divide into balls.
Sprinkle all-purpose flour to the balls and flatten the balls with your palm in form of cutlets. Roll them in bread crumbs and Fry them from both slides, till they look brown in color.
To decorate the Burger:


Apply butter to burger rolls and Fry for 5 seconds (apply & fry only the inner side of the roll)
On the bottom burger roll: Apply cheese spread, Place 1 leaf of lettuce, then Place cucumber slice, tomato slice, the cutlet, again cucumber and tomato, few jalapeno pepper and lastly the lettuce leaf. Before Placing the top roll apply cheese spread and fix with tooth pick.
Repeat the same procedure for the rest 3-burger rolls and serve with tomato ketchup.

Asian Bean Burgers

2 cans (15 oz. ea.) red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs
1/3 cup green onions, minced
1 large egg
1 TB lite soy sauce
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. garlic, minced
1 TB oil

To make the Burgers:
Mash beans in a medium bowl with a potato masher or fork. Stir in remaining burger ingredients until well blended. Form into 4 patties.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Sauté patties 3 to 4 minutes per side until heated through and crusty and internal temperature registers
160؛ F., on an instant read thermometer inserted from side into the middle.

Sauce
1/4 cup mayonnaise OR Miracle Whip salad dressing*
1 TB prepared horseradish
1 TB green onions, minced
1 tsp. lite soy sauce

To make the Sauce:
Mix ingredients in a small bowl. Serve the burgers on buns with lettuce,tomato, cucumber and the Sauce.

Makes 4 patties.

*Miracle Whip has 1/2 the fat of mayonnaise.

Ingredients
10 burgers buns
10 tbsp tomato ketchup
10 tbsp green chutney
10 slices of onions (optional)

some cabbage shredded

for the burgers

150 gms kale chane soaked overnight and boiled with little salt and then mashed coarsely, and it should be thick

1. mix all the ingredients of the burger except paneer into a fairly tough dough
2. divide into 10 balls
3. heat a nonstick pan and put some oil on it
4 now take one ball at a time and stuff with one tsp of paneer and shape it into a flat tikki
5. make all the tikkis and shallow fry on the pan from both the sides on slow flame.
6. take one burger bun cut it from the middle toast it with little butter.
7. put one tsp of ketchup on one inside of the bun and one tsp of green chutney on the other
8. place a burger/ tikki on the bun, then a slice of tomato, one slice of cucumber and one slice of onion, some cabbage and cover with the other part of the bun. pierce a toothpick through the bun and serve hot with chutney and ketchup

1. Chilli Chicken Burger

1/4 cup mayonnaise (of your flavour)
1 cucumber, peeled and slices
2 tomatoes, sliced
2 onion, sliced
4 round buns, halved and buttered
4 cheese slices

For Burgers:
1/4 chicken, skinned and debonned, boiled and minced
2 tsp chilli sauce
1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp pepper powder
2 tbsp plain flour
Salt as per taste
1/4 cup boiled peas
Oil for frying

Method:


Mix all the patties ingredients except oil
Make 4 big burgers
Heat oil and deep fry the patties till golden brown
Drain and keep aside
How to Proceed:


On 4 halve buns, layer tomato slices, evenly
Put 4 burgers in each halved buns
Top it with cucumber slices and then onion slices
Put cheese slices on top of it
Spread mayonnaise on the remaining 4 halved buns (inner side)
Put these buns on the cheese slices
Wrap the buns in the foil
Warm in oven at 450 o F for 10 min
Serve with french fries and lettuce leaves

2.Vegetable Burgers


4 potatoes, boiled and peeled
1/4 cup peas
10 french beans, finely chopped
2 carrots, finely chopped
1/2 cup small cauliflower florets
1 tsbp lemon juice
1 egg white
1-1/2 bread crumbs
1 tbsp cornflour
4 green chillies chopped finely
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp ginger paste
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
Salt as per taste
Oil for shallow frying

Method:


Boil peas, french beans, carrots and cauliflower
Smash it coarsely
Smash potatoes
Mix all the ingredients except for the oil
Make patties of the mixture
Heat oil in a shallow pan
Fry patties on both the sides till golden
Serve on toasted roll spread with chutney


3.Cheese Burgers


1/2 kg lean minced lamb meat
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 onion, chopped finely
1/4 tsp ginger paste
2 tbsp chopped mint leaves
2 green chillies, chopped finely
3 tbsp boiled corn kernels, smashed
1/2 tsp red chilli sauce
Salt as per taste
4 cheese cubes

Method:


Mix all the ingredients except cheese cube
Mix it well and make 8 potion of patties
Make flat rounds of meat parts
Place 4 cheese cubes on 4 flat patties
Top each with other 4 patties
Press together firmly, sealing the edges firmly -- cheese should be completely covered
Grill the patties, turning once till the patties are brown -- aprrox 20 mins
Serve with chips


4.Mushroom Burgers


4 buns
1 cup shredded carrots
8 slices of tomato
1/2 cup grated cheese
Oil for frying
1 tbsp butter

For Patties:
1 cup small mushrooms, chopped coarsely
1 onion, chopped finely
1 tsp garlic paste
Salt as per taste
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
1/4 cup boiled peas
1/4 cup chopped french beans, boiled
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg white
3 green chillies, chopped finely

Method:


Heat butter in a pan
Fry onion till transparent
Simmer garlic paste for 2 minutes
Add mushroom and saute for 12-15 minutes, till dry
Drain and Keep aside
Mix all the other ingredients of patties with mushroom
Make 4 patties of the mixture
Shallow fry till golden brown
Warm the buns
Slit into halves
On 4 halves, put tomato slices, patties, shredded carrots and finally grated cheese
Cover with the remaining halves
Serve with ketchup
