my husband and i just decided to go vegetarian about 7 months ago, reason...animal cruelty, anyways, i just got to think.. "WHAT ARE WE GONNA HAVE FOR THANKSGIVING....a gigant pice of tofu shaped like a turkey?" ..christmas??? please i NEED sugestions!!!

No need for tofu...my stepmom is vegetarian, and last thanksgiving, she made the following:

1. a crisp green salad
2. parmesan crusted salmon
3. green bean casserole
4. apple butternut squash soup
5. garlic mashed potatoes
6. pumpkin pie with home made whipped cream

Everything but the turkey or the ham. You could make a nice big pot of lentil stew in a pretty bowl for a centerpiece,

Just serve the usual dishes, sans a turkey. If you get a free-range turkey, it's not cruel... Whole Foods Market has them.

well i dint celebrate thank giving and i hate meat for the taste, so you could just have everything but the meat and instead of meat have tofu or veggie burgers like u said so your self

homemade macoroni and cheese,stuffing,mashed potatoes and gravy,green beans pretty much all the normal sides you would eat with turkey.

steak wrapped in bacon. The meats cancel eachother out
