It's really quite difficult to be a healthy vegan without a huge amount of effort. Ever see one? They are always gaunt and sickly looking.
Is it really that important to you? You need to address why you want to be a vegan. Is it because it's such a fad these days? Being a vegetarian is a lot easier and almost as eco friendly. Try free range eggs and dairy products.
It you still insist on being a vegan try talking with your doctor. Try the PETA website.
Really though... do you really want to do this to your body?

I am a vegetarian and my sister is a vegan. She has been a vegan close to 5 years and before then a vegetarian for 10 years. I have been a vegetarian for over 6 years. I take an all vitamin and a calcium pill each day, make sure they do not contain gelatin. Neither my sister or I plan out each and every meal. Just try adding tofu to your diet a few times a week. Eating beans and legumes, you can add them to your salads, chilies or pasta sauces. Eating more vegetables especially they greens that contain iron like spinach and broccoli. Make sure you get checked out by your doctor as well. Veganism can be dangerous if you don't eat right but as long as you are not eating junk food all the time you should be fine. Good luck and do some research on line or pick up a book. Then you will be able to discuss your decision with the people who are concerned for you as well as your doctor.
