Trust me, they do melt in your hand................think about.......our body is at least 95 degrees and that will melt chocolate in minutes..........they only seem to melt faster in your mouth because of the saliva

no it'll melt in your hand and your mouth because if you hold it in your hand too long it'll melt, and if you let it sit in your mouth it'll melt there too

Yes, they melt in your hand, but not as fast as regular chocolate. That is why they were originally invented -- US Servicemen requested chocolate that would not melt so fast -- voila, M & M's.
