I am an actress and during the run of a stage play years ago, I was provided with a certain melon (not watermelon or cantaloupe) that calmed our nervous tummies. Nervousness made us feel like we needed to go to the restroom, but the melon helped. Only I can't remember which melon my co-star offered. Can anyone help?

I have never heard of this remedy(melon for nervous tummy) What I do know is that drinking milk(if you can handle it), coats the stomach and always seems to help me with upset stomach or certain stomach ailments. Sorry about the melon thing! Good Luck!

Maybe it was honeydew? It is the only melon I know besides watermelon and cantaloupe that is readily available at most stores. Peppermint oil is good for an upset stomach. You just have to be very careful with it since it is very strong.
