Here is one of my favorite recipes - It contains no grains or meat and is all raw!

I take 1 cup of walnuts, 2 stalks of celery, 2 scallions (green onions), and 1 red pepper - I run this through the food processor and add a dash of salt - It will carry 50% of the salt for the dish, so you decide how salty you like it.... Mix until it is of "tuna salad" consistancy....

Now take your Nori - layer it with lots of alfalfa sprouts - then spread a layer of the "tunafish" upon the sprouts. (make sure to use enough sprouts or it will become a very messy sushi....

Roll up and serve with Nama Shoyu, Lemon Juice, Pickled Ginger, and a dash of mustard or apple cider vinegar.

Hope you enjoy...

Oh, one more simple one - I use shreaded jicama, sprouts, and sliced avocado - roll and serve with same!

Enjoy!

Sushi does not mean fish anyway. The word sushi refers to the rice. Just look up recipe for sushi and leave out the fish. I think veggies sushi has brown rice, avocado, picked carrots and cucumber in it.

I agree about the california rolls. They are tasty and don't usually contain meat. I have had some that have crab meat in them but that can be easily omitted. Usually I think they are avacodo, carrot, and maybe cucumber.

Have you tried California rolls? That's just basically rice with avocado and carrot wrapped in seaweed. I LOVE it.

Thanks for making me hungry. :)
