the cd-4 cells is what is infected there could be 1,000 or more HIV virus in 1 cd-4 cell.
1) HIV enters a cd-4 cell
2) HIV is a retrovirus, meaning that its genetic information is stored on a single stranded RNA instead of the double stranded DNA found in most organisms, tp replicate the HIV uses an enzyme known as reverse transcriptase to convert its RNA into DNA.
3) HIV DNA enters the nucleus of the t-4 cell and inserts itself into the cell's DNA HIV DNA then instructs the cell to make lots more copy's of the original virus.
4) New virus particles are assembled and leave the cell ready to infect ther other cd-4 cells.

If you have all had a negative result then you really don't need to worry about it being HIV! If you have had liver cirrhosis then chances are your immune system has been compromised- the liver has a huge amount of functions in the body including producing hormones and chemicals which make your immune system do its job. I assume you have been to the doctor since you have had a HIV test- go back and ask for their advice! If your WBC count is so low then i am surprised that they are not already testing to find out why. Good luck.

The size of the cell doesn't change with HIV. Some of them could atrophy because of damage but not really smaller.

actually speaking HIV doesnot have anything to do with the size of the cell. the genetic material of the virus gets into the RBC and destroys its immunity and starts to replicate.

No, no such change visible in a blood smear or analyzer.
Sometimes you can see the white cells react (bigger) to a viral infection. But that can be any virus.
