I hate celery, sardines, anchovies and most of all, CORIANDER (or cilantro, if you're from the US).
My favourite meal would be vegetables cooked al dente, (broccoli, sugar snap peas, baby corn, carrots, red peppers), Roast potatoes and lamb cooked to perfection with just enough gravy -my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Turkish and Greek cuisine are very similar - but don't tell them I said so.
India is a big country, so you can't lump the cuisine together.
In fact, in northern India it leans towards Turkish.
My preference is for any food from India, followed by west Chinese (Sichuan), which can be hot but also has the more subtle Chinese flavours.
Hate? Nothing, but not too keen on north African food, and Polynesian food with baked bananas.
I normally cook Indian or Sichuan food, but there are some excellent Italian dishes, and stuffed vine leaves and moussaka are relatively easy.

Love a good, mild, curry. I live next door to a pakistani family and the smells on an evening are incredible from the wonderful mix of spices they use. I wish they would invite me round!
Bored with chinese and have recently been cooking a lot of Greek food - even had a Greek dinner party the weekend. It was great and all my plates are still intact!

The worst food was in Egypt during the first century AD, although they did used to make this giant pasty (imagine a massive cornish pasty) filled with sheep, ducks, goats etc.
My favourite food is substenance 4516, which is an artificially created version of sherry trifle, but won't be available for another 32 years.

I agree with Dedoklonk, innerds aka owful meats are wretched. I also hate the taste, smell, and site of any lamb dish. I also despise overly spicey food.. i mean what is the point of it being so hot and not being able to TASTE IT? And canned tuna... ick. Also, lobster and scallops make me puke. Literally, i have allergies to them. But also think they taste like dirt, but im sure dirt is much more satisfying. (=
ADDENDUM:answer: How could i forget 3 other foods that i despise with passion..... MAYONAISE, HORSERADISH, AND HOLLANDAISE!!!!!!!!!!! Can i get a high 5 for this one anyone??

I hate rice pudding and love mangoes. On one occasion I was celebrating Christmas Eve with a gathering of Finns. Christmas pudding is their traditional food on that occasion and they were serving it from great tureens. I gulped down my helping as fast as I could so as not to taste it. The tureens were by now making their return journey and one of the people serving the rice pudding was complimented by my empty place "Oh, you must have enjoyed that!" he said. "Do have some more!" And before I could protest, he filled my plate. The rest of the memory I have blanked out...

Proper south Asian food, not the rubbish from take-aways, is the best and totally different. I love my Mums food but what I don't like is undercooked rare meat with the blood still dripping out of it...yuk!
