Peripheral neuropathy is a common result of uncontrolled blood sugars. Get the blood sugars under control, as in the normal range. If this does not help, have a doctor evaluate her for other problems.

Those symptoms in a diabetic is suspicious for a diabetic neuropathy, which can present with pain, though it's usually localized to parts of the body rather than just being everywhere.
This sort of pain can be very difficult to treat, and it's unlikely that anything will immediately clear all of the problems up, but there are several drugs that have an indication specifically for pain such as this. Drugs like Lyrica and Cymbalta have been shown to be helpful, as well as amitriptyline.
Of course, keeping her blood sugar under control will help stop this from progressing if it is related to the diabetes, but this will probably not stop the pain by itself.
The bottom line though is that she needs to see her doctor and work with him to find a regimen that really works, not every drug works the same for every patient, and there is no way to tell other than to try.

Bacteria can reach vagina area whether you had sex or not. Before you start panicking & thinking of the worse, check if you have been drinking enough water everyday. If you drink other forms of liquid like soda & really sugary stuff more than water then you need to slow down on that. Drinking at least 2 liters a day helps clearing your urinary track. If you really feel like drinking something with taste, drink cranberry juice, that stuff is legendary when it comes to clearing your urinary track. I drank lots of water & at least 4 cups of cranberry juice in a day & i urinate a lot which is good even when i can still feel the burning sensation but eventually it stopped the following day. If you still feel it the next day even after you drink all that then you might have a bigger problem & you need to see your doctor. Good luck :)

First and foremost, get her blood sugar under control. Read this:

For type I and type II diabetics (and those who are overweight and could potentially become diabetic). Copy and bookmark the webpages I‘ve listed below… they are invaluable for those with diabetes and/or weight problems...

I've found a wonderful book that will help you control your diabetes and minimize or even eliminate the complications. Some folks who became diabetic due to poor diet and obesity are effectively cured by following the advice in this book. I'm a type II (inherited), but it helps all types, especially those who became diabetic due to poor eating habits. It's by an author who has really done his homework, Patrick Quillin, Phd. It's called, "The Diabetes Improvement Program". I have tried his suggestions and found them to be very helpful. I have no complications whatsoever and my blood sugar levels are quite stable. Yes, I still have to take Metformin (Glucophage) daily, but it's the minimum dosage (500mg) and I only have to take it twice a day. I have been off Metformin for as much as a week, but this was with vigorous exercise. Many, what I call, non-hereditary type IIs (those that don't have a close relative who had it) have gotten off medication completely, just with diet, exercise, and supplements. So, in some instances, it most certainly can be 'effectively' cured. Read more about it here:

The book explains what's going on in our system and what to do about it. It's really easy and inexpensive. It's basically diet, supplements, and exercise. For example, did you know that cinnamon helps blood sugar absorption? It also controls cholesterol and triglycerides. This is according to the USDA:
