Unfortunately...I do not make enough to eat a 20-100 plate of food that is BARELY there. I think I will have to go with casual(sometimes better than fine dining,IMO) but seeing all those extravagant dishes in food magazines makes me so envious of people who get to eat them. Lol.

Fine dining does not have to be expensive. You can cook a fancy meal for an economical price. It is the love and care that you put into the preparation, cooking and presentation of the food.
Try this simple dinner and you can see what I mean.
Ingredience: Chicken2-3 breasts,Mushrooms1/2LB,1Red,1Green, and 1Yellow Pepper, Garlic(3 Cloves finely chopped) Flour4oz and Butter4oz , and White Wine(4oz), Spegettini(thin Spagetti)1/2 to 3/4 of a packet
Prep: Cut the peppers into very thin slices.
Cut mushrooms into very thin slices.
Cube chicken and place in a ziplock bag with salt, pepper
and flour.
Cooking instructions: Saute mushrooms and peppers with garlic and butter in a frying pan on a med. heat
In a second pan fry the chicken with butter and garlic also on a med. heat.
In a pot bring water to a boil and cook spegettini for 10-12 mins.
After the chicken is cooked put it aside in the pan add the remaining flour and white wine simmer over a low heat until the flour and wine have mixed stir constantly.
Serve as follows serving dish with pasta in the middle and the peppers and mushrooms around it and the chicken on top of the pasta.
And there you have Chicken in a White Wine Sauce with Assorted Vegetables.

Fine dining can be nice on special nights out and when you have the money but I find casual dining to be more accommodating and more relaxed. Then again, sometimes a quiet dinner at home is really nice too. You can prepare the food yourself and relax in the comfort of your own home, plus, depending on the ingredients, it can be more budget friendly. (homemade leftovers are always better than a doggy bag)

Casual dining, definitely. (This does not mean BK or McDs) It's relaxed, you don't have to totally dress up, the food is better. I say that because fine dining places put about 14 different ingredients into that one small plate, and chances are I won't like two of them! Plus it's too snobby and pretentious. I want to be comfortable wolfing down my dinner.

In the every day life, i think people prefer casual dining...i mean, you feel most comfortable when you don't have to pay attention to your manners (but that doesn't mean to have no manners, lol :P ) or to pay attention to those around you etc....But for once in a while I think that everyone should spoil hersefl with a little extravagance (and this dosen't involve only food :) ). In fact, it's the simple things that makes life more beautifull! and food can be one of them.
Bye bye!

Who needs fine dining. There's no reason you should have to pay an outrageous amount of money to look at a plate that more resembles artwork than food. Give me a good ole casual Bar-B-Q joint or cafe anytime. You get more for the money, tastes better, and you can dress comfy.

Both are good. But, if your budget does not allow you to afford fancy dishes, you can buy the ingredients at the market and make them at home. Tip: if you want to go for a nice meal at a nice place, go during lunch time and get the greatest bargains for most dishes, regardless of restaurant.

You can always try and make it your self. Or just save up a few dollars at a time and then once a year try and eat those expivse meals. then you can tell your friends that yes you have tried them, it may just be the ticket you are looking for.

For most part of the year.. definitely casual.. its way cheaper.. but for that very SPECIAL nite with that SPECIAL someone.. you can blow your budget with a really fancy restaurant. If you can't afford, just go for dessert and coffee.. The ambience will be celebration enough!!
