I am a 21 year old man and never had this problem until I started dating this 24 year old lady named Betty about 6 months ago. I met her in a bar and slept with her in her in the parking lot that night. Now for the last 3 months my private member has swollen, turned red, became sore to the touch and it burns severly when I urinate. Betty is the only person I have had sex with in the last 2 years, ( I was in the Navy for 18 months before I met Betty and did not have sex ). Betty swears she has been tested for std's and has none, she also says she hasn't slept with anyone else but me, but she has been going on a lot of overnight trips with her family members lately. Or at least that is what she tells me, for all
I know she could be off with other men, because I have caught her in lies before and she never wants to talk about her trips when returning home. Could I really have an std? Or do you think I may have a urinary tract infection and just need some antibotics like Betty insists?

I would REALLY suggest going to see a doctor.

Being a pharmacy technician for a hospital, I would NEVER trust these "online pharmacies". I think it's just asking for trouble. How do you know what you are getting is the real thing?

For all you know, it could be a simple urinary tract infection, which is easily cured with some antibiotics. I have had a few in my life and it's no big deal at all, it goes away completely with antibiotics.

But, if it is something serious, like an STD then you will know for sure and can get treated properly. If it's a viral STD for example like herpes, it can NOT be treated with antibiotics. You will be wasting your time and your money by purchasing antibiotics for a viral infection.

I think it is best you see a doctor and get it properly diagnosed! Good luck to you!

I don't think Betty is a very nice girl.

Sounds like gonorrhea, or chlamydia. They tend to go together. Get to the doctor. Quick round of antibiotics (and a quick q-tip to the urethra) and you'll be peeing freely again.

It is extemely doubtful that all of your symptoms are caused by a Urinary tract infection. UTI's generally don't cause swelling, redness, or sore to touch...usually just burning upon urination and frequency...and cloudy urine. Now, I haven't seen your penis so I don't know exactly that it's an STD or not. Check with a doctor.

You need to see your doctor. It sounds like she may have given you something, you really don't want. Also it could be a bladder infection, Urinary track infection. I would see if "Betty" would get tested, if you are still seeing her. You may want to be tested too. Good luck to ya, and I hope the pain you are having goes away soon.

It might be a STD if you're having unprotected intercourse. If no longer then it might be a bladder illness. I could cross to the surgeon. You will want meds. to remedy both of them. Try utilizing lubricant want time you masterbate. You can get it at wal- mart within the popular it's not that high-priced. But it do not odor as well as shampoo.

If could be just a nasty infection, but since you had slept in the car, you may have been sleeping in a strange position. Perhaps with your groin pressed to the steering column or the shifter. That could cause burning and a red penis. You should always sleep in a bed. Betty should also. Is her penis red as well?

Obviously Betty isn't honest. Urinary tract infections do not cause redness and swelling. You might want to see a doctor ASAP! Good luck to you!

The only one that can really answer your question is your doctor. However, if it is merely a bladder infection you could try drinking a fair amount of cranberry juice. This is know to help resolve bladder/urinary tract infections.

Definitely go see a doc & stop sleeping with Betty. A UTI doesn't make you swell & turn red.
