If a vegans are so healthy, then why do they always look bloated and gassy?
My mother-in-law is a vegetarian and let me tell you, she has some nasty ones. I have to burn an incense every time she visits.

Doctors will tell you, that if you have smelly gas, it means there is something wrong with you. Therefore, because vegans experience a lot of smelly gas, it means that their diet is not healthy. People with a lot of smelly gas usually have malnutrition.

In my experience, meat-eaters have worse gas than vegans. Is she a vegetarian or a vegan? Does she still eat dairy products? That may be the cause. I gave up dairy about 2 months ago and I can't even remember the last time I had gas, so that may be the cause of it.

Why do you continue to make up stories? IF in fact ALL vegans are gassy it's only because of the types of food they eat like beans and several types of veggies. You know as well as I do that those foods are not unhealthy.

I do not know the age of your MIL but as we age our digestive acids diminish. Sounds like she needs some digestive aids. More than likely she would have the same problem or worst if she ate meat..beef is really hard to digest.

vegetables, since they are high in fiber, are cleaning out the digestive tract. This causes gas. And, yes; vegetarians ARE healthy!

A popular misconception. In fact, it is meat eaters who have the worst gas because meat can not be properly digested and sits in the gut for days on end. Everyone has bad days, but it's totally untrue that vegans and vegetarians smell worse. In fact, it's been shown we smell better, taste better, and make better lovers.

I have never found that, they probably eat too many beans, that makes anyone gassy vegan or just anyone who eats baked beans on toast!
