People are able to get rid of any type of HPV, which includes cancer related ones and wart related ones. Most people are actually able to get rid of HPV, but for others they have it their entire life. There is NO cure for HPV, but some peoples bodies can get rid of it.

Since there are over 100 different kinds of HPV, it's always possible for a person to contract a kind of HPV they don't already have. And, once a person gets rid of the virus, it's always possible for them to contract it again.

once you get the virus, you'll always have it. it just might not always show as positive on a test. if you have "cancer hpv" (as you call it) you will always be at increased risk of developing cervical cancer. get a pap every year.
