Just curious.I've had quite a few in the past and was wondering if it might be possible if any of my one-nighters may have had HIV and by chance I DIDN't contract it....I'm clean as a whistle!

I've been pretty faithful for about 3 years now, I wasn't planning on changing that...before that for about 3 years maybe 5 partners in that time...that wasn't the concern though..in my earlier years as a waitress, I was just wondering if it could have been possible that I had sex w/ someone that may have had hiv....i've been tested SERVERAL Times, and I don't plan on being with anyone else ever...

You can. I watched a segment on Montel once about a women who's husband has AIDS and she had sex with him for three years without any protection and didn't catch it. I'm not sure about now. But would you really want to take that chance?

AIDS is a blood born disease caused by HIV. It is being transmitted through the blood or exchange of body secretions and even in contact with these secretions. Be careful with your partners. The average time AIDS will occur is ten years after exposure. So be careful.

Yes.
Exposure does not guarentee infection.
and safer sex cuts down on exposure as well.
If you've tested clean, and continue to do so (hiv may not show right away) then you've lucked out- but this does not mean your partners were or are clean.

yes, it is possible to have sex w/ a person who has hiv/aids and not contract it. it is also possible for hiv to lay dormant for something like, 10 years or more WITHOUT BEING DETECTED. my advice is to take to your doctor- get tested OFTEN! and before you sleep with someone new, go to your doctor(s) and get tested FIRST. better safe than sorry, right?
