why not get a lamb roast and put in slow cooker add rosemary garlic ,???

You can either ask in the meat section of your supermarket, the butcher if they have ground lamb or if they can bone and grind a lamb shoulder for you. If he won't do it, I'd just buy a lamb shoulder, cut the meat off the bone myself, and use grinder to turn into ground meat.
Go to www.cooks.com and search "gyros meat loaf" for a good recipe to make with this ground lamb.
