Hepatitis B or C?
For B, you should be vaccinated anyway. And be really careful.
For C, it's a lot harder to spread through sex. I knew a guy who was diagnosed a few years ago, but who had had it for years and years. He'd been married twice, and neither ex-wife got it. So if you use protection, you're probably pretty safe.

Any physical contact has some risk. How do you know that they had protected sex? Were you there? If you weren't then you are laying your life on the line for them. Why do you need to have risky sex anyway? Hmmmm.

i have hep b, and was married (sexually active with wife ) for about 5 years before i found out. she was lucky and never contacted the virus...with that said, it is always BETTER to have PROTECTED sex unless you are trying to have kids, so as long as you have protected sex you should be o.k. now the other thing everyone should get a hep A and B vac. shots they are pain-less and money well spent!
