It depends. I am a vegetarian, and also a foodie. I love cooking, and if I'm in a relationship I really love cooking with my gf and sharing meals and food. It's a vital part of home life to me. Given that, if my wife was willing to give up meat at home so we could cook and eat together, but still eat meat when she's not with me or when we dine out, I would be OK with that.

I am a vegetarian who's married to a non vegetarian. It's no big deal. He eats what he wants, and I eat what I want. The kids are meat eaters. It doesnt bother me to see them eating meat, it's just not for me. I will cook meat for the family, I just make sure to have something I like too.

It depends if you love the person and what kind of vegetarian you are. If you were a strict vegertarian then I guess you wouldn't. If the veggie eating ran in the family, some families won't be pleased. If you don't eat meat but love that person VERY much, then yes I think you would.

I am a vegetarian married to a meat eater and we eat vegatarian at home. When we go out everyone eats what they want. We have decided to raise our children as vegetarian. I married the man not what he eats.

Yes and no. I never never never want to be married to anyone again for any reason. But I would certainly be in a relationship with a non-veggie. I'm a veggie for my own health, because I discovered that skipping meat was the answer to my stomach problems. I don't mind if I am with someone and he or she eats differently. Just so long as he or she does not try to get me to eat meat and send my stomach into a tizzy.

I know lots of "mixed" marriages, so to speak. I am on the fence meat-wise(only eat meat sometimes-can't give up bacon and turkey) and my 14 year old daughter is a vegetarian. My hubby is a total "meat and potatoes" guy. Dinner at my house can be an adventure. :)

I did and it works out fine. I only cook vegetarian, on the rare occasion he wants meat he cooks it himself or we will go out to eat. After 6 years of marriage, he is healthier and it works for us.
