Yes, but only in unpasteurised milk. Pus comes from an udder infection that dairy cows get which is commonly referred to “mastitis.” When milk is pasteurised (heating it to a high enough temperature to kill certain bacteria) pus is removed, hence fit for drinking...

I'm sure there are laws against selling milk procured from cows with inflammed udders, under sanitation. And I'm also sure that milk is inspected for such things before sale anyway.
So no.

Only if it's from an infected udder and wasn't inspected. Pasteurized, the bacteria would be killed if this happened, and most legal raw milk is carefully tested.
Go to the USDA for food safety facts, not the scare tactics and hype of fanatics like PETA who will literally say or do anything to try to force their biases on others.

I asked a friend who's parents have a diary and they said there was a time when by accident the cows teats would get infected but that never happens now due to the strict sanitation laws that have been enacted. So they said to tell you no not any more.

Yuck. I have never heard that before. Horomones, maybe, but pus? I would think only if the cow had an infection in her udders.
