Why is this question labeled as Ethnic Cuisine?
Freud believed that all our life and actions were based on two principles: Eros and Thanatos. Psychology is not an exact science, and there are different schools of thoughts but his theories when read in whole are interesting and may put some highlights on bases of human behaviour.

Freud is meant to be one of the best, but he did concentrate on sex in his theories, maybe he was frustrated or a closet male.

Most human and animal behavior is related to sex. Freud and others like Pomeroy and Kinsey explored the compulsion of people in their sexuality and how it was manifested. Clothing is a good example. Women wear lacy or provocative clothing to both signal weakness and therefore submission, or clothing that is very revealing that emphasizes their bodies. Men do the same. Even the attraction to handguns has a sexual connotation for men and some extrapolate powerful motorcycles as being an extention of their phallus. Many races of people embraced phallic worship as a sign of potency and it is said that the Washington Monument and the Eiffel Tower are simply stylized phalluses. We find that many men with small penises lack confidence as they have a doubt of their ability to contend with better endowed males. In religion too, there is sexuality but in a different sense, the lack of sexuality, hence many religions have their priests and monks wear robes...males in female clothing thusly neuter gender...a sexless male...chaste. Sex is the basis for so many things but somethings are easily seen for example choices of color, men normally tend towards blues, greens, greys, browns or black (reflecting primordial instinctive to conceal themselves) whereas women select yellows, pinks, etc to show themselves. The trend of women to dress in dark colors was inspired mainly by religion (brightly dressed women were 'loose') and by Queen Victoria who forbade uncovered legs on furniture as being tasteless. Without the strictures of religion, many island races evolved into carefree people unashamed of their sex and suffer fewer problems than those both bound by the church and attempts to hide sex by clothing and therefore creating the fomentation point for various psychological problems.

He was high on cocaine and I've heard where he said it made him horny. He got hooked on it drinking coca cola then got a chemist to send him pure cocaine. He later figured out he screwed up, he had mental problems it seems as well as drug dependence's.
He self diagnosed himself as mentally unstable because of his drug problem.
