I need help my German Grandmother when she was alive made every Christmas a like polish sausage baked into a roll or bread. It was small maybe about six or seven inches. From what I could understand it sounded like "ingada bucketa vorschk." Could you please tell me what the actual name is and how to prepare it?

Hi, this is a native German writing.

I assume you wrote the words phonetic, just as you heard them, because what you wrote is not german.
But when I pronounce the words in an english way, I can faintly recognize something like "backta" or so. That isn't grman either, but it sounds like a southern accent to me (I am from the Northwest). It most definately means "gebacken" in high german (baked).

What you wrote as Vorschk is Wurst, of course. In the south every 'st' is pronounced as 'sht', and our "W" is pronounced like your "v".
Wurst (or southern dialect Worscht) is sausage.

Ingada? No idea, sorry. Even with the biggest use of phantasy I can't think of any word like that, not even similar to it. But your grandmother might have said it, it just is a very local (southwest german) dialect, and I am from the Northwest.

Sorry I can't help you more!

You could buy those rolls of Pillsbury crescent rolls and wrap your sausage in those. If you get the "fresh" and not smoked sausage, you'll have to pre-cook your sausage.
After they bake, I like to pile on the saurkraut and mustard. MMMM!!

Sounds like a Kolache. I don't know how to make it, but they sell it in the frozen food section at HEB.
