Hi, I would like to ask for help from our Korean friends.
Sometimes when you come to a Korean restaurant, you sit on the floor at the table with a little grill in the middle of it, and the waiter serves raw sliced pork. You cook it yourself, then you put it on a leaf of salary, add rice, garlic, etc. I need to know - what is the name of that table, and where can I get one in US? Thank you so much!

The small dining table you are referring to is "bahp sahng", the direct translation is dining table. You can go to your local Korean super market and ask for "jup noon - bahp sahng" which means fold-up dining table.
If you are in Los Angeles you can go to Kim's Home Center (213-386-4882) or Chung's Appliance (213-389-1111) to find many selections.

Korean tables in general are called "bap sang" (literally it means food table). The dish you are talking about is "Sam Gyup Sal" (literally it means, three layered meat, it's actually the part of the pig that bacon is made from) and its not totally raw, it's actually marinated a bit.
The tables themselves don't have grills built in that you can buy, unless you're a restauranteur. However, they sell little home grills that are separate from the tables called "gas grills" with little butane gas canisters.
Here is a great website of Korean food supplies (and the gas grill):
http://www.kgrocer.com
or
http://www.ikoreaplaza.com
The specific link to the gas grill:
http://www.kgrocer.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=658
Or, if you live in a big city, there should be a Korean grocery store that you can buy it at (that saves on shipping costs!)
Hope that helped~!

Sorry I cannot answer your question but I'm glad you asked it. I'm going to be checking back because I was wondering that VERY THING this afternoon! I came soooooooooooo close to stopping off at a korean restaurant and getting some bulgogi and kimshi but I figured my toddler wouldn't care for any of the food so I skipped it. Man what I wouldn't give for a beef & brew close by!

sam gap sau (Probably not correct spelling) , Medium slices of unsalted pork, same cut as bacon. Grilled after being dipped in sessame oil and pepper. On the romain lettuce you can put rice, hot pepper paste. Garlic, little kimchi, anything you want. its a fantastic meal. The stoves are availible very cheaply at most Korean markets. I paid 18 bucs for my stove and the cans of fuel come in a pack of 4 for about 5 bucs. Each can of butane lasts about an hour. I use it often.

Keep a smaller water glass, which you should refill often, instead of a sizable water bottle on your desk.
