Find out why your best friend doesn't have any lunch of his/her own. Is it lack of funds, problems at home, spending lunch money on the wrong things, or what? Explain that you can't keep on subsidising him/her and ask if anything can be done to sort out the problem. Say that this really is the last time that you can share lunch like this (unless there really is a heartbreaking reason behind it all, in which case you'll probably want to make arrangements to bring twice as much). Make it clear that you want it to stop now.

A friend brings you a certain emotional value, and you contribute value to your friend in return. You both look out for each other because you care what happens to the other. However, when one person starts giving more than she is taking, it can seem like she is being taken advantage of. Sometimes she may be doing things like this unintentionally. I would bring it to her attention politely at first. Say something like, "Hey, Julie. I noticed that you like sharing my lunch with me and since I only brought enough for myself, I'm left feeling hungary afterwords. Maybe we could alternate bringing lunch on different days. Would you be up for that?"

This way you can find out what her motive is w/o hurting her feelings. Maybe she's too broke to afford lunch of her own, perhaps she likes what you bring better than what she has... you really don't know until you ask why she does it. A true friend should understand your questioning her like that.

Maybe you could suggest that one day you 'do' lunch and the next your friend does. Or maybe this friend has not got a clue there doing it and if you pointed it out you could resolve the problem! Does your friend bring lunch so you share both? Maybe you should start making rubbish lunches? One things for sure you should not be going hungry.

There are several things you could do.

1. Ask her to bring some food too then you would both have some variety.
2. Suggest that you both eat at a canteen, cafe or resturant instead.
3. Bring extra food for them and give them the whole box or pack for themselves.

Each of these solutions should help you friend to see that they are taking advantage. That way you get your message across without any confrontation.

Take something she doesn't like - make sure she doesn't. i.e. Put too much mustard or/and salt on the sandwich she is going to have.

Tell her you have developed a craving for it and can't get enough, she will soon look for other lunch sources.

Is there a reason she nicks your lunch, is she just mean, lazy or can't she afford her own?

Maybe she needs help rather than poisoning, she's your friend, you'll know.

If you haven't told them that their actions are making you go hungry the rest of the day you should do so. Honesty is best when confronting a best friend. If you told them to stop and they keep doing so they are not your friend. They are using you. You are better off sitting among complete strangers and having a chance to meet new friends then being with someone that abuses you.

It's time to sit her down and tell her that being friends does not mean you allow the other friend to take advantage. Tell her that you value her friendship but starting tommorrow lunch will not be something you will share with her and that she should plan accordingly for her lunch tommorrow.

Tell your "best friend" to stop eating your lunch cuz you're going hungry. If this person is really your friend, they'll stop.

Give your friend the nasty tasting vegetables and keep all the meat for yourself. A lunch consisting of only meat is very filling and will give you the necessary vitamins you need. More than likely, you are starving and weak because your friend is eating all the meat. People who eat only vegetables are starving all the time.
