Proper flag etiquette deems that if a flag from another country is flown it shall be flown in conjunction with the US flag, and always below it.

Your question is confusing. You are also not giving all the facts.
The United States Government would not tell you that you could not fly a flag of your choosing.
If this is what is happening than it is more than likely a local issue.
The community you live in may have some type of zoning ordinance in place restricting flying a flag that has inappropriate content on it. Not that flying a flag from a different country is inappropriate. You may also live in a area under the rule of some type of housing association where flying any flag at all may be prohibited. .

People should take pride in the fact that they are able to be here and have opportunities. They fled their homeland for here for god sakes. Fly the American flag.
For example: Mexicans. They all say how horrible Mexico is that they had to come here. Whats with the Mexican flag if you hate Mexico so much? Same thing for PR'icans? Other then these two nationalities I do not see any other flags being flown or "advertised."

I have no problem with anyone flying their countries flag. But if you are in The United States it should be flown below the U.S. flag. It is a matter of respect. At my home the American flag is flown right along with the British flag a little lower.

Who is refusing to let people fly any particular flag?
If you are talking about all the objections to people flying the Mexican flag in marches, you overlook one thing. People have a right to object. If people were arrested for just waving the Mexican flag, then rights would be violated.

Disrespectful. Just because you have the right to do something doesn't mean it is the right thing to do. You have so much pride about a country you won't live in, but you would not tolerate a couple million people waving another country's flag there (while demanding rights and benefits from the government), would you?

Yes it does but it is wrong if in the process you disrespect the American flag and the US people. Such as at an American post office flying the Mexican flag and hanging the American flag upside down. Burning the American flag, ect.

I don't know of any place in the USA where you can't fly whatever flag you want. If you don't understand why this would be seen as offensive to many people then you do not want to fit in this country.

Feel Free to fly it, as long as it is not above the American flag. As a veteran I helped earn you that right. Fly it above the Stars and Stripes and I will take the right to burn it front of your face. It stands for alot of sweat, pain tears and sacrifices of our veterans, and countrymen. Fly yours below when your in America. Fly yours above in your Native Country.

Yes , you have freedom of speach, and if you fly the Mexican flag , you are telling every one that sees it, that you are a @sshole. If you don't want to be an American then go to Mexico, we don't want any one here that does no want to be part of America.
