October 7Th. is "Sukkot" this year, a nice holiday to hold the memory of the life in the desert on the historical biblical way from Egypt to Cna'an (Israel). As it's one of the formal Holidays with many nice secular meanings, I suppose some happenings will take action in the kibbutz. Most probably a Sukka, which is some kind of a temporary style hut built on that holiday.

I am sure the Kibbutz has a webpage. Find it. Or give them a call and ask. October 7 is a Saturday. That is Shabbat in Israel. A day of rest. Be careful you don't do anything to offend anyone. There'll probably be a shabbat meal and maybe prayers.
