It is normal for the Friday prayers to be punctuated by some form of violent demonstrations against USA, UK, the Hindus, the Jews and if nothing else against fellow muslims.

DaMonk,
You do not say how much influence did CBSNEWS.COM and COUNTERPUNCH.ORG have on your views.
You being a Buddhist better beware of a name like counterPUNCH. Does your belief system allow violence even if the name refers to a verbal counterpunch?

If we are to go by the Bible God commanded that saturday be observed as the day of god - so the Muslims chose friday as the day for violence and the Christians chose sunday for violence, the Jews still maintain saturdayas day of violence since all this is done in the name of god
We all believe, irrespective of our religion that the God we believe in created the world, and everything in it.If we do not accept this we are admitting another creator and God for those other people, and our God becomes a part-God .
If we believe that our God created the Universe and everything and everyone in it, then why are we fighting people who do not know about our concept of God, but are the creations of the same God?
What we should be doing is - knowing that everyone and everything - we know, and do not know are created by our god, and that He would be angry if we hurt any one of His creations in a false bid to glorify Him! (Stupid are we not?)
To top it all; we are killing each other in a bid to get the right to define God our Creator!!
Are we not trying to be more than God when we are attempting to define Him and confine His activities to people who believe in our defenition of him?
can we completely, or even attempt to define God with our limited language and brain
The point is; let us not create God or Gods - it is the other way around Right? It is God who created us. Let us believe that God knows everything without our having to tell Him what to do! With an attitude of surrender -with the realization that God is beyond the capacity of our teeny brain to grasp, Let us live life as a celeberation of God's love, in having created us and this woderful world-let us regain the paradise that God gave us instaed of trying to put Our Creator in a capsule, and fighting like pack dogs for our right to sell him like street hawkers

Your question strikes me as being somewhat odd...
I find it remarkably puzzling how people with very little knowledge of religion can stand up and attempt to make a valid point on something, based on what others think, because they are to ignorant to surmise their own ideas.
First of all I would like to make a clear point, I am a Buddhist and I am completely unbiased when it comes to this particular arguement.
In my eyes, yes a small group of muslims have done bad things to other religious believers including their own. However so too have the Christians.
For example, on 9/11, a terrible thing happened which killed almost 3000 civilians of mixed nationality, the act was unforgivable (meaning to the people directly involved) and was a sad time for everyone (it was heavily publicised and shown to be one of the worst ever things which happened (which im not disputing)).
However, in the war following 9/11, (the bit which people never seem to consider and if they do they see it as some form of revenge) the death count in Iraq was between 180,000 and 500,000.
Looking at those figures, do you really believe that American and British forces were justified, when the majority of their victims were also civilians, just like those of 9/11. They were people who were only guilty of one thing and that was being in the wrong place at the wrong time as their entire country was systematically carpet bombed, just like those in the WTC buildings they were innocent.
Both events were horrific and neither 'side' was justified in any way, especially not to start it in the first place or to have an 'over-kill' of a top estimated 497,000 people.
There is one other thing that should be kept in mind as well, all muslims are wrongly considered terrorists by some bloody minded idiots, when the muslims in majority are completely against these actions and are strong believers in peace. Where as in reflection, the majority of Christians actually agree with the bombing of Iraq and it's people, they even go to the extreme of 'picking' on muslims in general when they haven't done a thing wrong.
At the end of the day we should all really try and realise the truth and that is that there is no point in bombing each other and arguing about things which lay in the past, we are a people together, and should stop considering ourselves seperate.
We all have one thing in common and that is that we are alive and living on this planet, it's about time people realized this and united. After all no-ones going anywhere, we only have this small planet to live on, so why cant we just share it?

It is only a minority of Muslims who spout violence and hatred against races like Americans, British, Jewish people, Hindus and so on.

Sadly, the ones who do are deemed more 'newsworthy' than others, so they get all the media coverage, and perpetuate the jaundiced 'popular' perception which goes with it.

The word Islam translates as 'peace' and most Muslims are peaceful. They just want to get on with their lives and are probably fed up with the labels of 'terrorists' or 'sheiks of hate' which get stuck to them.

The people are communicating that there ought to be a share or ration of power; if that is not easy for the power holders to do; every body might get involved.

Have u sat in a Mosque and heard what they pray about? I bet you havent and have no idea about their religion apart from what u have heard because of 9/11. This is the reason why i sometimes hate being human...because of the stupid, sarcastic and ignorant comments made by ppl who have hateful attitudes.

You are the one promoting the hate mate...not the good muslims out there who set an example for their society..there is a difference between muslim extremists and the good population of muslims. They are peace loving individuals who deserve every right to practise their beliefs without having someone like u shove *^%( down their throat.

What a prick you are, generalising Muslims like that.
I take it you're a Christian due to your 1 track mindedness.
Muslims are peaceful people who generally keep themselves to themselves and dont try to ram their religion down other peoples throat, unfortunately a small minority of extremists have given the religion a bad name.
Scotland has a big Muslim community and we all seem to get on so why dont you try to stop being so shallow and take people for who they are and not what they believe in.

Yeah, right. I know a bunch of Muslims, many of them aren't violent and the girls especially are very meek. (though I knew one annoying pervert muslim in 2nd grade, but he matured and got better). Not saying I believe in Islam, but that's a generalization.
