I think this must be a joke as Gary is notorious for jumping off every horse and calling them the 'best ever'. Winning Colors was, as was Serena's Song, Silver Charm, Point Given and Rock Hard Ten. I think he even said it of Storming Home who gave him one of the worst accidents of his career.

He rode Seabiscuit in the movie, and that's a good one. Years ago, at Longacres Renton, Wa. Gary rode this horse called Lodeoluck. Went off at 29 to 1. I had it pile drove at the window. So as far as I'm concerned "Lodeoluck" was the best horse he ever raced.
