You are gonna catch sh*t for that.

I don't understand why this question is necessary.. it's not even a question, so what's your point?

I'm guessin someone of that descent recently did something to piss you off, and this is your way of venting, am I right?

Btw, I don't see the similarity AT ALL.

Aloha from Down Unda!

Did you mean ~
"No offense but I think half black, half asian people just look like black people with down syndrome?
Am I wrong for thinking that? I don't mean anything bad it is just how they look to me."

You can believe I'm feeling just a little offended because I'm half black & down unda! Oh well, if you feel like that, it's you right! I would recommend, however, that you focus your attentions on a great education & a lot of travel to overcome your narrow & offending points of view. But that's just MY theory.

I think that's an awfully big generalization. I mean, even people with Down syndrome don't all look alike and in my opinion, people with Down syndrome are beautiful and unique. What bothers me is that you, and many of the people who answered seem to think it's insulting to the half black/half asian people to be compared to people with Down syndrome. But it is actually more insulting that people think Down syndrome is somehow offensive. There is no shame in having Down syndrome any more than there is shame in being white, black, mixed, male, female, blond, brunette, etc. We are all different, we all have the ability to love and to show compassion.

Well, you certainly have the right to think whatever you want. Me, I just don't see it. I've been around people with Down's, black and white, and I've been around people with mixed African and Asian heritage. I honestly don't see the resemblance.

Still, it may be a good idea to not share that thought around others, as it is quite offensive any way you say it.

Usually any sentence that starts with NO OFFENSE BUT is bound to give offense. If I was half black and half asian I would be highly offended by this inaccurate and racist observation.
