I recieved answers such as ...sex....OK...repeated answers that had nothing to do with my question.

just click on the thumbs down and the answer will minimize itself. i think the intention of yahoo was for the person, who feels offended, not to see the answer too often. other people could still see it as is.

How I wish they could be deleted! The fact that they minimize now when you give them a thumbs down is nice. The only other thing you can do is report them. If it had nothing to do with your question, you can report them that it is not an answer. If the answer is offensive in nature you can report them for that, too. Sometimes Yahoo Answers will remove the answer, although not often.

Unfortunately, there is no way to delete innappropriate answers in this version of Yahoo Answers, however you can just ignore them and choose the best answer out of the rest of the reasonable answers!

You can't, but if you get to level 2 you can vote thumbs down next to their answer which will minimize their replies.
