My mom really wanted to tell her that her thong was showing but I had to tell her no. Should she have told her?

No. Regardless of body type, it would be inappropriate to walk up and say something. The only acceptable way to address, is if it is a nice restaurant with a specific, understood dress code. In that case, an employee or manager should be the one to address the situation.

Your answer should be regardless of her size.

You know what, I wouldn't do it. However, women know that wearing a thong and low-cut pants is a formula for the "whale tail". If someone did say something, I don't think its completely out of bounds

Big deal her thong is showing.

You are eating at Taco Bell with your mommy. I can't believe that you are trying to act superior to the so-called fat chick.

too funny! I actually like to see thongs crawling up a girl's back. It's sexy.

Now when you say "fat", do u mean she is just a little on the heavy side or pleasantly plump...or do you mean grossly obese to where she has no business wearing one?

No I wouldn't say anything. Either she doesn't care or she'd be embarassed. If she had a problem with it she should've just looked away.

If it is a problem for your mom, ask her to look away, why should she be bothered about what others wear?
