If this is your first time to HK, visting The Peak is a MUST. Other than the usual Ocean Park, Disneyland and Repulse Bay, The Ngong Ping 360 has recently open and you can take the cable car for an eye opening experience. Take a walk at the Ngong Ping Village too, packages for a return cable car ride + entrance pass to 2 of their attraction - Monkey's Tale theatre & Walking with Buddha cost only HK$145/Adult.
Another MUST see is the Symphony of Light. The highlight comes at 8pm when buildings on both sides of the Harbour erupt in coloured lights, laser beams and searchlights to perform a synchronised 20-minute display to music and commentary.
For shopping, you can go to the Ladies Market at Mongkok and Temple street night market. Another shppg mall you can go to is the Argyle Centre at Mongkok, it is similar to the Far East Plaza in Singapore.

If you are interested in Tai Chi or other martial arts go to Kowloon Park to watch the people practising there. There are also demonstrations of certain martial arts on weekends. There is also a beautiful garden behind the oldest Tauist temple in the new Territories. You must visit the Teaware museum or the tea room next door if you are into tea. Also check out the chinese antique stores for breathtaking works of art, better than most museums.
