I hope you can solder. I am unfamiliar with the term 'light ways bus' but will assume that it is one of the traces on the circuit board. what you need to do is bridge the gap you created. The simplest way is to locate a solder point on either side of the gap. The pad where an IC or component pin comes through the board is perfect for this. Now take some 30Awg wire wrap wire and solder it from one pad to the other. Tack the wire to the board with crazy glue for neatness.
If there is no handy pad terminal to solder to, you will have to bridge the gap with a small piece of wire. Careful scrape the protective coating off the trace on each side of the gap. Ad a drop of flux to each side. Using a gage of wire as close to the size of the trace as possible, cut a very short piece and lay it across the gap. Hold it in place with a pair of tweezers, and apply a drop of solder on each end to join it to the trace. You may want to practice this first, as you don't want to get too much solder on the board and short out the other traces around the repair. I hope this is clear enough.
