is it possible to send mooncake to a friend of mine in australia because i heard there are certain things they dont allow to get into australia

you just able to send mooncake coupons to Australia, coz the gov are not allow any food to get into Australia!

p.s. It's the simple way that people always do during the mooncake season, once your friends recived the coupons, they can take it in some cake store... (China town cake store is pretty pop! =P)

It's not technically true that you can't bring any food into Australia, there are heavy restrictions on what you can and can't bring into or send to Australia. These restrictions are mainly put on anything with seeds, nuts, fruit or vegitables, as well as meat and dairy products. You can bring into or send anything provided it doesn't have a high content of any of these things. I am pretty sure that mooncake is out, because it has egg in it.
