I AM POSING THIS QUESTIONS BECAUSE IF I READ MARK NINE I FIND JESUS TALKING TO MOSES AND ELIYA OF WHICH WERE DEAD PEOPLE.MOST OF CHRISTIANS MIGHT BE LOST SOMEWHERE SOMEHOW.

MANY CHRISTIANS DO NOT BEALIVE IN ANCESTORS AT ALL .IF YOU READ FIRST CORINTHIANS CHAPTER FIFTEEN VERSE 29 YOU WILL FIND THAT IT SAYS "WHAT WILL THOSE WHO ARE BAPTISED FOR THE DEAD DO IF THE DEAD DO NOT RISE AT ALL"THIS AUTOMATICALLY TELLS ME THAT THE DEAD HAVE A CHANCE TO BE BAPTISED BUT MODERN CHRISTIANS NEVER DO THIS.

This is a big issue in SA at the moment due to the ancestral worship of some of the African people. Ancestors were very important to the Jewish people as can be seen in numerous scripture verses. This is because the tribe you came from was very important. In the Anglican Church we say during the Eucharist "... with angels and archangels and all the company of heaven we acclaim You...". This is because the Bible teaches that when we worship and sing praises to God those in heaven celebrate with us. There is a spiritual world which most of us cannot see or understand at this time. Jesus did not have this problem - He came from that spiritual world into the physical. Christian people are not "lost' somewhere as you put it. They are in the place that God has prepared for them waiting for the day of judgement. So to answer your question. Yes, Jesus did believe in ancestors, our spirits are eternally alive, He did not however worship or encourage worship of ancestors.

Yup - he was talking with them alright.
Ancestors are something everyone has to believe in - but I think you mean Ancestoral Worship, which Jesus didn't believe in.
I do not know why he did this, but I know that it made a huge impression on the men who saw and they were told not to tell the others until later.
Mmm - I might study this more because I know that there are laws against communing with the dead so there must be some big reason why Jesus would do this.

You do realize that christianity as a religion didnt exist for a couple hundred years after who you call Jesus was long dead?
You cant ask anyone alive what he thought or believed. Its all subject to interpretation, and since the books of the bible have been modified numerous times, you can decide anything you want and there is noone who can correct you.

I'd say that Jesus belived in reincarnations, and an afterlife in which ancestors and such can be interacted with.
I am not sure what christians will say, but I know my opinion on it.
