I remember how it gets - no money and far from home. But enjoy the loads of free time! Go out and chat with a friend - or make new ones! I remember my college always had something going on - movies, meetings, etc.
I dunno. When I was in college I always got into trouble. Toilet paper the trees at the dean's house! Or just think about it, and laugh.
I know a lot of older folks like me say this, but once you're out of school you have less time. More money, but less time.

do not remind her of the reason she's depressed. Do different activities to maintain her thoughts off of her melancholy, if i could say. bring up some jokes, make her smile, take her out to dinner, compliment her:) wish this helps:)

The computer in my high school classroom recently started acting up. After watching me struggle with it, one of my students came up and took over. "Your hard drive crashed," he said.
I called the computer services office and explained, "My computer is down. The hard drive crashed."
"We can't just send people down on your say-so. How do you know that's the problem?"
"A student told me," I answered.
"We'll send someone over right away."
