Sorry......it has to have been my own. Too bad the marriage had to be disasterous. But the wedding was awesomely fun!
First off....the ceremony lasted all of 8 minutes. I mean seriously......no one really wants a long ceremony. Ask if he'll take his wife.......let them say I do....kiss......yada yada yada ....the end.
So we get to the reception. We cut the cake. I smash it all in his face......he picks up a huge chuck and wipes it all over me. I swear I was the messiest looking bride of all time. We were dying laughing though. So we get all cleaned up........and the music starts. We're ready for our first dance. We do the dance.......and then the party began! Maybe it was because we had an open bar.......maybe it was because I have damn good taste in music and handpicked every song........but there wasn't a person not up and dancing. We had a blast! So then...........all of the groomsmen in the wedding knew what my lifelong dream had been........and it was at this point that they fullfilled it for me. (Not that......shame on you) They picked up my hubby and dragged him down to the pool and threw him in tuxedo and all. I stood at the top of the hill jumping up and down in that stupid long white dress saying I could now die a happy woman! Ever since I was a kid.......I had just always wanted my groom thrown in our pool on my wedding day. *shrugs* I loved it!! (he was so so about it........but humored me. Besides.......it got him out of that tux and into some jeans....lol) So we danced all night and then came time to leave.
I knew that the wedding party would be ready and waiting to toss birdseed all over us. So I had gone out the day before and bought cans of silly string. I gave two cans to my husband and kept two for myself. Everyone was outside waiting for our traditional exit. But there is nothing traditional about me. We went thru the door spraying silly string at the crowd. It was hilarious!!! They threw the bird seed up out of surprise and it landed on them instead of us!!! Seeing silly string everywhere was just about the funniest sight at a wedding that I can remember!!!
My husband then picked me up......set me up on the roof of his car and I slid down through the sunroof and waved to the crowd as we drove off. It was a fantastic day!!!
Until the next day when the honeymoon was definitely over! But what a fun wedding indeed. :)
It's the reception that is fun!!

My wedding and my brother's wedding was both the best I'd ever been too. My wedding was just fantastic. I was married in June and it was beautiful. I couldn't be happier. We had a large wedding of 250 guests, 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsman. My nephew was our candlebearer (he carried down our unity candle) and he is 2 1/2 years old and is so cute (he is my husband's sister's child) we didn't know if he would walk down the aisle but he did. The wedding day went by too fast. The reception was a blast, we got to talk with everybody there. The food was good, the DJ was good. My wedding director was great (she relieved some stress from me, she is a great friend of mine) I couldn't have been happier with it.
My brother's wedding was also beautiful. They have a little girl who wasn't a year old yet, and they had the most beautiful little outfit you could ever find! She was so cute. I love my sister-in-law. The wedding was a lot of fun. There was a lot of dancing at the reception which was fun. My brother was dancing to one dance and then the song said do a cha-cha my brother said I don't know how to. Everybody in the room started to laugh. It was just a great night!

I just got married two weeks ago in my backyard. It was the greatest wedding that I have ever been to. Everyone had so much fun. There was room to move around. It wasn't stuffy like in a banquet hall. We made it informal so everyone could where what they wanted to. We rented a tent and did all normal wedding things except we bought a moon bounce for the kids to play on and some of the guys were playing horseshoes. It was a totally awesome wedding.

One of my best friends got married in April and I was a groomsman for him. A few days before the wedding he said he still hadn't written it so we lok on the internet for one of those little synopsis things; who to thank etc etc. "That'll do fine" he said
"Are you sure" I asked him.
"Yeah, I'll just wing it"
The day of the wedding was a beautiful sunny spring day and all went well, then it was time for the speeches. I was very nervous for him because I knew that he had done NO preparation and I wasn't sure how I was going to console him after he tanked it at his own wedding. Anyway I needn't have worried because he stood up and imrpovised the best wedding speech I had ever heard! He had the entire room literally on the floor laughing. He also managed to insult; the bride's entire family, short people and people with red hair, whilst still keeping the room onside and delivering a warm, loving speech to boot!
After that how could the day fail!

I have been to a lot of good weddings but the best one just happened. My cousins daughter just got married this past summer. They were married in the chapel at Michigan State University. The reception was held at the hotel on campus and was very nice. There was a surprise guest Sparty the MSU mascot that was cool.

A wedding that took place on the beach. The bride wore a sarong and the groom a cheesecloth shirt and white rolled up pants. The were standing knee deep in the waves when they said their vows and had a beach party afterwards.

My own - we did a Renaissance Theme and made all of the outfits, had the best food, had a great DJ and even my friends from the UK flew over to be in the wedding party. It was great and I would love to do it again for like our 25th or 50th wedding anniversary. We shall see. ;-)

one of my buddies got married. there were bout 30 people there and all but 4 or so were involved in helping in some way. when my buddy was walkin out with his bride looked at my camera and had the look of someone caught in the spotlight when he did not want it. also this was one of the smallest weddings ever went to. and had 4 video cameras recording the ceremony. while due to a tragic series of events my sisters did not have any video camera. so as a piece of advice to those who have videos cherish them. they can be very special to many later on. my step-brother, one og my grandfathers, and my father were at one where i taped it and this is some of the only footage anyone has of any of them. grandfather died not long after, same as step-brother and my father was usually operating a camera.

I have attended many.
Every one beats the other.
Our INDIAN RAILWAY minster's daughter's wedding was the best.
But then you have to wait to see the best yet to come.
What happens, happens in money wasted just for one day.
You can build a school with that money.
In memory of your wedding.
A memory that lasts forever, longer than your wedded life.
