How many have seen God? How many have seen Santa Claus?
Both know if you're naughty or nice.
Both give people something they need.
Both are considered male (usually).

People doesn't dress up to pretend that they are God, they just do it as they are.

Which Santa and which God do you mean?
I'm guessing God is Christian's God because this question smacks of some young atheist trying to be clever.
If you look back far enough - the Santa myth is based in the Horned God of the Pagans... and so looking at the Horned God and the Christian God there are a number of differences and a few similarities.

The very very basic difference to those who do not believe in either?
-The Horned God is one of many, a pantheon
-The Christian God is a single entity or one of a triune

Santa Claus is based upon the real St. Nicholas. His existence was well documented. Not as much evidence that Jesus actually existed. There's no evidence at all that he was the son of god, because there's no evidence for god.

Santa Claus wished he had as many believers as God. This has turned him into a jealous old fart who picks and chooses who he gives presents to and has turned him to alcohol which made him fat and unhealthy. Now he is trying to lobby parliament to make Christmas more than just one season of the year cause he feels that God is getting more exposure than him and that is why God is more popular. Poor Santa Clause.

I get presents from Santa on the 25 of Dec.
I gave a present to God once & went back a week later & it was still there, unopened. So I took it back. I guess either God didn't want it or there's no God.
I left cookies & wiskey out for Santa & they were gone next morning.
