Yes, and my ex husband benefitted from the amnesty of 1986. I personally know how much fraud and abuse was commited during that little government mistake. I am anti Illegal immigrant, not necessarily anti-immigrant. Big difference. The illegals have no pride or loyalty and show nothing but blatant disrespect. The immigrants that went about it legally are proud of their accomplishments and you will see them smile with joy and pride when they are sworn in during their citizenship ceremony.

I'm not anti illegal but have an ex bf who was pro illegal like me turn anti illegal.Last I heard he had joined the minutemen group, which is why I always wondered how many of the anti illegals really feel illegal immigration is bad because it breaks the law and not because of personal reason.Because to tell you the truth people like She-ra who are talking about how she's anti illegal immigration and how her ex husband became legal because of that amenesty opportunity makes me think she maybe turned anti illegal because she got a bad deal in the divorce settlement.Being anti or pro is all fine and dandy with me but when you base it because an illegal stole your wife/bf/husband/gf or cut ya off on the freeway or wouldn't go out with you, then that's making it personal. But yet again doubt many anti's will confess the real reason as to why they feel like they do.

I work with Mexican people every day, I've ate with them, partied with them, cried with them when a loved one has been lost fought with them over this very subject. I have had to fire some that tried to work here with phony papers. If we don't follow the laws it's going to hurt us all in the long run. I am anti illegal and always will be. Seems like the younger ones coming over now a days have no respect for what our country stands for and ain't here to become citizens they just want the freedoms and that's a shame.
