Not unless I was a supreme asshole narcissist.

If I didn't approve of a wedding I wouldn't go.

A tiny little black veil over the right hat would be acceptable. Make sure you are in uniform and matching the whole ensemble, However, if the only purpose to wear a fabulous color such as Black to a wedding, is to state a point of disapproval, why not just speak up when the Minister/Priest announces "Does anyone here have objections". This way you can be assured that others will take notice of yourself and what you are wearing at the same time.
Don't forget to accessorize! You may have to defend yourself.

No. Too rude. Besides, you'd be the total focus of the whole event as everyone would be wondering who the weirdo was.

If you were invited by the bride or groom, and they reeeeeeealy wanted you to go, then you should put on a brave face and turn up, regardless whether you approve of the marriage or not. If you're the partner of someone who was invited, then I say you shouldn't go. A wedding is a special occasion, and you shouldn't spoil someone else's special day - how would you like someone to do that to you?

No, I just wouldn't attend the wedding as by doing so you are giving your approval with or without the black veil.

Absolutely not. Even though you are entitled to your opinion, you DO NOT have the right to insult, embarrass or ruin the couple's special day. If you disapprove so much, consider this:

Is losing a friend or hurting someone worth making your opinion known to everyone and embarrassing the couple; are you really that selfish and arrogant?

If you disapprove so much, then don't go, but remember - Not going is also an insult and causes hurt, which can lead to the loss of that relationship you share with whichever one you know and are close to.

Think how you would feel if someone did that to you or someone you love.

If this is to be intended as a statement of disapproval then no.
If it's a fashion/stylish type thing, go ahead within reason.
Pretend it's your best friend's wedding and dress accordingly.

A wedding day is a big day for both families, don't let your action be a bad memory for everyone.

On a lighter (and weirder) note my daughter's best friend is getting married next year and she's wearing black.

Are you the bride, bridesmaid or guest?? Veil would make me think bride but you never know..

I guess if the bride is the one asking you to - but other than that - no. If you are the bride and don't want to then of course - no way - it is your wedding - you make it about both of you -- no one else. Black is not really the color to wear at a wedding at all - let alone a black veil.

No. You should just stay at home if you do not approve of the wedding.

If I had real genuine reason for not approving e.g. it was a visa wedding, I wouldn't go, otherwise I'ld either have to decide to go and support them or to stay at home
