be confident! Tell her! (and keep your cool if she rejects you or whatsoever...) OR! send her an emial, SMS, letter/ note, or just make her feel special and she'll figure it out... or just get over her...(that last one isn't really good advice...)

I know exactly how you feel. I don't get on with my stepmom and asking her is difficult. I just say something like 'I need some more 'stuff' next ttime you go shopping' or if I'm out with her, walk over to the feminien isle and start looking at the stuff she usually just says put what i want in the basket. I haven't been brave enough to get the money and go buy my own yet. Good luck

i am affraid i agree with clyde as hard as it is, you need to take the risk and ask her, and if she says no, dont feel rejected there are plenty fish in the sea and someone better will come along, life is one big risk so dont not ask her and wonder forever what if.
