Rare. This site

will tell you just how rare your names are in the USA. Pack, for instance, is 1,681st in popularity. Smith is #1, followed by Johnson, Williams and Jones.

This happens all the time.

There are 6,500,000,000 people in the world. They all have a name. There just arent enough names to go around. I have a very unusual name and about ten years ago all of a sudden there was a famous guy with the same name as me. It always caused a fuss whenever I get paged at like an airport or somewhere. hahahah

I had friend whose name was Pat Malone, and she married a guy named Pat Malone and when they moved to their new house, guess what? the next door neighbors were Pat Malone and Pat Malone and their son Pat! hahahah!!!!!

Not too likely if you're pretty sure they're not common names or related. I used to work for a job and would sometimes catch identity theft and fraud... it's amazing what people can do! If it's something to with a credit card or bank account, anything you may have released on-line, or over the phone I would definitely call and talk to someone. Don't wait and good luck!
