We do know a way to lose weight. Eat a healthy, well balanced diet and get plenty of exercise. No, people shouldn't "give up" on trying to lose weight if they are actually over weight because obesity is linked to many severe health problems. Should people take a mentally healthy approach to attack this problem? Of course.
