How popular are hotdogs in Britain?
I've never seen any of these tasty gems in any British movies.
What do you put on them if they are popular?
Thanks.

They do have hot-dogs in Britain but they are somewhat different from the American kind. Usually canned they are served at the movies, carnivals, fairs, and sometimes roadside vendors. British hot-dogs are served with fried onions and ketchup. English mustard is to spicy and would overcome the taste.
Wow now I want an English hot-dog. Talk about nostalgia, I'm reminded of Saturday morning pictures( movies) or Guy Faulks not carnival.

I have to admit there's some good ideas here for topping off hot dogs. I like hot dogs with chili, or sauer kraute and mustard.
