Don't just blame Republicans. I can't trust any D.C. politician. Look into the Labor Day hurricane, September 2, 1935. The Democrats were in control then and basically did the same thing, or worse and swept it all under the rug. You can't trust D.C. Never could and never will.

Why is it always someone else's responsibility to take care of them? Have you ever heard of home owners/renters insurance? What about the money from FEMA? Oh that's right...everyone needed a big screen TV. And how about the Governor? It would seem that it would be his fault to...and the mayor? Nope...of course not. Lets blame the President for everything. He should have dropped everything and came running to help. Stop crying and move on. You want a nice pilot job? Join the military....they'll take care of you.

You have to be kidding. Louisiana's governor refused help twice. You may not have a rich father, but you should have enough common sense to leave a toilet bowl of a city when a category 5 hurricane is coming straight towards you. Beside, guess what? It wasn't the 'republicans' responsibility to bail their azzes out. Look it up. That kind of statement proves why there will always be welfare a state: not enough common sense to get your azz out there and make yourself rich. Katrina victims only have themselves to blame.

The same way they avoided their responsibility during the Vietnam war. The same way they avoid responsibility for all of their failures.
In reality, they did not go AWOL, because that implies that at some point they were there. In fact, they just blew it off because they didn't care.
They don't think poor people or Blacks are human. Therefore, they just never thought of doing anything until they were made too. They still don't understand why anyone would upset at them over it.
