At first your question seems contradictive... but as a freethinker you are entitled to appreciate Jesus' goals if you can find enough reason to.

Absolutely...much of what Jesus had taught regarding love, the "good" life and peace are all good things, most would agree...in fact, that is why so many people, way before Jesus was even born and way after he had left, said the same things but just with different words.

America's Founding Fathers did. They were deists, believing in the moral teachings of the Bible, but not the miracles, such as creation and the virgin birth.
I know, I watch the History Channel too much.

Of course -
many religions use Jesus as a role model on morality + ethics.
As you know that is only half his story. If you want to leave that part out. It is your choice.
I am glad and pleased to see you back at quality questions.

Why settle for the crumbs if you can have the whole cake? There is so much more to Jesus that just being "a good teacher" as so many believe. Come on, have the whole cake.

Absolutely! Why wouldn't it be okay? As a self-proclaimed "freethinker", I do believe you can do whatever you like.

Of course...Jesus was an enlightend man ( a spiritually advanced person) and many of his teachings were and have been misunderstood to this day. We can learn a lot from his example

You are welcome to attempt to appreciate Jesus' purpose, which was to save humankind from sin through his death on the cross.
This was Jesus' purpose. He had no other one.
To which goals are you referring, exactly? I mean, for real?
I propose to you that Jesus had no other reason for coming to earth, and I challenge you to find an instance in the Gospels that disputes this.
