GOD IS ONLY ONE NOT FOR CHRISTIAN AND MUSLIM ONLY BUT FOR ALL BUT DIFFRENCE IN CONCEPT.
WE (MUSLIM) SAYS
"THERE IS NONE OTHAR THAN ONE AND ONLY ONE GOD (ALLAH)"
the Knower of the invisible, and the visible. He is the Beneficent, the Merciful.
He is Allah, other than whom there is no other God, the Sovereign Lord, the Holly One, the Peace, the Keeper of Faith, the Guardian, the Majestic, the Compeller, the Superb, Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (to Him) !
He is Allah, the Creator, the Shaper out of nothing, the Fashioner, His are the most beautiful names. All that is in the heavens and earth glorifies Him, and He is Almighty, the Wise."
The belief in this statement must be expressed and tested in action. Belief in one God requires that we look upon all humanity as one family under the universal omnipotence of God - the Creator and Nourisher of all

The answer to this question depends on what is meant by "same God." There is no denying that the Muslim view of God and the Christian view of God have many similarities. Both view God as absolutely sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, holy, just, righteous. Both Islam and Christianity believe in one God who is the Creator of everything in the universe. So, yes, in this sense, Christians & Muslims worship the same God.

At the same time, there are also important differences between the Christian and Muslim view of God. While Muslims view Allah as possessing the attributes of love, mercy, and grace; Allah does not demonstrate these attributes in the same manner as the Christian God. The most important difference, though, between the Muslim and Christian view of God is the concept of incarnation. Christians believe that God became a human being in the Person of Jesus Christ. Muslims believe this concept to be the ultimate blasphemy. Muslims can never accept the idea that Allah would become a man to die for the sins of the world. A belief in the incarnation of God in the Person of Jesus Christ is absolutely essential to the Christian understanding of God. God became a human being so He could empathize with us, and more importantly, so He could provide salvation, the forgiveness of sins.

If there is only one God (and both faiths agree that there is) then this would have to be true. Allah is only an Arabic term for God meaning "the God." We use the Arabic term for two reasons 1: Our Holy Quran was written in Arabic. 2: In Arabic there is a distinction between god (ilah) and God (Allah). If you were a Christian in an Arabic speaking country you would say Allah.

Also, in researching Islam you would find that many of the stories from the Bible are in the Quran. This is a website that you can search the Quran http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/002.qmt.html#002.184 and find many of these stories One God created one universe....... there is only one God.... and when Muslims pray they pray to that God.

No they would like you to believe that though. The Muslim god is Allah the moon god. Look at the following points:
1. Moon worship has been practiced in Arabia since 2000 BC. 2. 2. The crescent moon is the most common symbol of this
pagan moon worship as far back as 2000 BC.
3. In Mecca, there was a god named Hubal who was Lord of
the Kabah.
4. This Hubal was a moon god.
5. One Muslim apologist confessed that the idol of moon god
Hubal was placed upon the roof of the Kaba about 400 years
before Muhammad. This may in fact be the origin of why the
crescent moon is on top of every minaret at the Kaba today
and the central symbol of Islam atop of every mosque
throughout the world:

"About four hundred years before the birth of Muhammad one Amr bin Lahyo ... a descendant of Qahtan and king of Hijaz, had put an idol called Hubal on the roof of the Kaba. This was one of the chief deities of the Quraish before Islam." (Muhammad The Holy Prophet, Hafiz Ghulam Sarwar (Pakistan), p 18-19, Muslim)

6. The moon god was also referred to as "al-ilah". This is not a
proper name of a single specific god, but a generic reference
meaning "the god". Each local pagan Arab tribe would refer to
their own local tribal pagan god as "al-ilah".
7. "al-ilah" was later shortened to Allah before Muhammad
began promoting his new religion in 610 AD.
8. There is evidence that Hubal was referred to as "Allah".
9. When Muhammad came along, he dropped all references to
the name "Hubal" but retained the generic "Allah".
10. Muhammad retained almost all the pagan rituals of the Arabs
at the Kaba and redefined them in monotheistic terms.
11. Regardless of the specifics of the facts, it is clear that Islam
is derived from paganism that once worshiped a moon-god.
12. Although Islam is today a monotheist religion, its roots are in
paganism.

If you compare the Koran and the Old and New Testament you will find that Allah's personality and God's personality is very different. Both books give you a list of charactaristics of their deity and Allah and God differ like night and day. It is impossible to say they are one and the same - unless you believe that God is schitzophrenic.

Muslims say their allah is the same God of Christians and Jews.

But we true Christian believers say allah is not JEHOVAH ( I AM THAT I AM, GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISSAC & JACOB)

Our God never change his word. But allah said he has cancelled his previous words (The Scriptures existed before koran).

Allah is the Satan in the costume of sheep in the midst of herds to devour.

Allah blinded the minds of his followers with his lies not to see the glory and light of his creator and the God of all heaven and earth.

This has been prophecied in the Holy Bible. All the prophecies about the Islam in the Holy Bible are titled as 'corrupted' by allah(satan) to make people not to believe in the True God to whom allah (Satan) is fighting.

CRHISTIAN'S GOD AND MUSLIM'S GOD IS NOT JUST THE SAME.

Well, that's just a humdinger of a thing, isn't it?
Allah says that all Muslims should say "there is no God but God", and that is what Muslims believe, but there are other "spirits" in the world and there's this big, bad spirit which is the Devil.
The old Jewish God warned the people to not have any other gods before Him, so there must have been some other gods to choose from.
The Christian God is made of three parts- Father, Son, Holy Ghost. After that, there are demons, angels, Satan...
So in comparing the Muslim and Christian traditions to see whether there can be more than one good God...
From a Muslim perspective, there is no other God. If Christians tell Muslims that they worship a god that is not Allah, Muslims won't be able to take that very well. They would have to think that Christians are worshipping Satan.
From a Christian perspective, if Muslims say that their God is different from the Christian God, I think the Christians would also have to believe that they meant Satan, since Christians say that God is a trinity, but they actually believe in a unity in that trinity, that the three are just different manifestations of the One.
It's a sticky problem allright.
I can't answer this without telling you things I didn't want to tell anyone. Don't make me explain how I know this.
Universal spirits do not depend on language. They are summoned by emotions, not by their secret names. If a spirit will only come by calling its secret name, it is a limited spirit.
You can be a Christian in any language, because God through Christ is universal. If you can also be a Muslim in any language, then theirs is also a universal God.
You're on your own from there. I'm going to pray and then go to sleep.
Yikes! I really didn't want to do this tonight. It's after 3 am and I have things to do in the morning. But I wouldn't be answering the question if I didn't. So...
Abraham was the patriarch of both the Jews and the Arabs. First Abraham's wife Sarah thought she couldn't have a child and she gave her maid, Hagar, to Abraham so that he could sire a child. Abraham got Hagar pregnant and she gave birth to a son and named him Ishmael. Sorry for using the Anglicized names. Later, Sarah concieved and gave birth to Isaac. Ishmael became the father of the Arabs and Isaac became the father of the Hebrews.
Many generations passed between Ishmael and Mohammed, but God did not speak to the Arabs during this time. God spoke to the Hebrews. Muslims don't accept what God said to the Jews while God wasn't yet talking to the Arabs. They waited for hundreds- maybe a thousand?- years for God to speak to them in their own language. God spoke through the archangel Gabriel to one and only one Arabic human- the Prophet Mohammed. This is not the same pattern that God followed in making Himself known to the Jews and later to the Christians. God spoke to several Jewish prophets at regular intervals. When God spoke, He did not cancel His previous messages, nor did He say that He would never speak again. When Allah spoke through Gabriel to Mohammed, He did not cancel His previous messages, but those were to the Jews and the Christians. Mohammed reports that Allah said that He would never speak again.
I find this very curious. We need God to speak to us now. Who are we to tell God that He cannot speak to us?
I do not want to tell the Muslims that they are wrong, but I must tell anyone who tries to limit the messages of God that they need to stand down and let God say what He will and be quiet and humble and listen. In the Christian faith, there is what is called the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit which enables God to communicate with His people. What can a religion do if there is no communication between a God and His people?
I need to tell Christians something from the Ancient Laws of God. You are not to have any other gods before God.
And you are not to worship idols.
Those are things that God commanded all believers to do, or rather not to do.
Thinking of Jesus the man as God is not what God had in mind. Jesus was God who became man, but God is still One.
Praying to a painting, a statue or a crucifix is idolatry and not what God commanded.
If Christians saw the importance of these two things, Muslims would not be so embarrassed to think of Christians as People of the Book. The only major issues left would be the dietary regulations, the acceptability of scriptures and prophets and the traditions of fasting and frequent prayer. Jesus fasted. Christians were ordered to pray without ceasing. You could bring the world to peace if only you would, but you are in love with war, so you will remain stubborn and you will go against the will of God.
Not so fast, Mr. Muslim. You have done a mis-service to God by presuming to silence His voice and by making The Almighty, All Knowing God to only speak Arabic.
There is only one God. And stubborn people cannot know Him.

Absolutely not. According to the book of the christians God had a son that came and died for our sins so we wouldn't have to go to hell.
Allah, the god of the Muslims, did not have a son and I guess all you have to do is be a pretty good guy or blow somebody up to go to their heaven. I hope this helped.

Absolutely not. Some of them may think they worship the same God, but for those who truly see the two religions clearly, they definitely don't worship the same God. Not at all.
