i don't know about hell, but it's best to just tell the truth so there won't be any hassle later on.

Depends on what you are lying about....no one can honestly say they have ever went through life without being lied to.
If the kid wants chocolate cookies for breakfast and you say 'we don't have any' when you do...I'd say lie all you want.
If you are lying about major things like who the kids father is then thats alot harder decision to make.

why lie, just learn to explain things in a way that can be translated into multiple, yet all true, meanings. that way when the truth is seen thru the eyes of a child it wont be your fault, as if it could be anyway. besides, hell is freezing over don'tcha know!

The Bible says, lying is a sin. Sin makes a person an enemy of God. God's enemies' place is hell. If it is none of your business, keep quiet. Let the Mom deal with it.

It depends what it is about. If its too much for a child and its unecessary that they know then think before you speak. If its something she's keeping from them in a selfish way then do what your heart tells you to.
