Its not the Golden rule from the bible . Its the way we have let things become . If you have a lot of money you must be smart . therefore we shall follow you as long as the gold lasts.

I don't know why you put this question under the "religion and spirituality" section, because religion doesn't have anything to do with wealth and riches. But anyway, yes, sometimes the rich do rule us. Depends where you live and what the system of government is.

Well never heard it quite put like that before, but I believe you are right for those who live in on earth. For those who do not live on the planet I do not think gold matters, everyone is equal.

I am not a real fan of that rule, however, in third world countries it is impossible to deny that the monied are absolute monarches.

Fortunately, in the USA, the Constitution protects us, somewhat, from these extreme monied abuses.
